Our challenges included to fabricate a 13’ long “Yellow Submarine” to be used as a bar back.

Devise interactive party games based on the client’s game concepts including a ‘Ringo Starr’ ring toss.

We also created a A ‘Long and winding road’ Mini-golf game.

Also a ‘Penny Lane’ penny pitch game!

Create clever way-finding signage which would direct the guests and hopefully make them smile or chuckle a bit.

Drawing on Peter Max’s classic, cartoon imagery, we traced a dimensionally layered series of flats to create a more slender version of the iconic Yellow Submarine, which the bartenders could easily navigate around.

Utilizing worm-drive servo motors and lithium battery packs, we created a stand- alone slow-spin ‘daisy lazy susan’ topped with small vases which created a challenge for contestants to land pennies in.

Ringo’s ring toss was fabricated simply by using drum sticks and cymbals arrayed in a tic-tac-toe pattern.

The mini-golf course incorporated a small ramp to accommodate a ball return at the side, and a bending plywood set of guardrails to make it, well, long and winding.

The real challenge, as with all gala events, is delivering, setting up and striking the scenery all in the same night!
